Assalamu`alaikum…

Alhamdulillah, Hidayah Centre Evening Talk (HCET) berjaya diadakan untuk kali keEnam. Untuk HCET kali ini, para hadirin amat bertuah kerana dapat bersama dengan penceramah yang sudah berada dalam arena dakwah sejak 20 tahun yang lalu. Beliau ialah Puan Latifah Tamerlane, seorang pendakwah yang juga bekerja sebagai General Manager di sebuah agen pelancongan, Asian Overland Services Tours & Travel.

 Program yang diadakan di Pusat Komuniti JIM, Taman Melawati ini dihadiri seramai 30 orang dan mendapat respon yang cukup baik. Melalui siri perkongsian ini, Puan Latifah berkongsi bagaimana untuk menyampaikan mengenai Islam melalui cara yang mudah dan berkesan. Juga dikongsikan ialah bagaimana untuk menangani silap faham di kalangan bukan Islam.

Who is Mrs Latifah?

• Mrs. Latifah Tamerlane has been involved in Da’wah work for more than 20 years.
• She has served in ”The Muslim Converts Association in Spore” as Council Member for more than 3 terms
• She has also been conducting the Centre’s Orientation classes for more than 10years and is still currently doing so to date .
• Mrs. Tamerlane has also been invited to give public lectures on Islam at The Spore Museum by “The Friends of the Museum” and annually at International Schools viz. United World College, The Spore American School, The Overseas Family School of Spore.
• Although, she is the GM of a travel agent by profession, she enjoys giving talks and doing  Da’wah work  in Spore and internationally.
• Both Muslims and non-Muslims have enjoyed her very open, practical and sensible approach to Islam .
• Those who have benefited the most are the young, inquisitive and even the rebellious !
• Her talks relates to contemporary problems and peppered with lots of anecdotes and real life experiences.
• She is married to a British convert and is herself a Chinese Muslim .
• Her exposure in her travel profession also makes her very comfortable dealing with International audiences .
